CPE CREDITS

The BLX/Orrick Workshop offers timely discussions of topics related to post-issuance compliance and tax law for the public finance and 501(c)(3) communities who borrow on a tax-exempt basis.

Participants will:

  • Understand the Fundamentals and Current Landscape of Post-Issuance Compliance.
  • Have a better understanding of the private business use (“PBU”) restrictions and exceptions and learn practical tips for managing PBU in bond financed space.
  • Hear from the SEC on current municipal market considerations and how to develop best practices.
  • Learn tools for managing arbitrage rebate compliance and gain a better understanding of the rules and exceptions.
  • Hear from other organizations about their post-issuance compliance programs and take away practical tips and pointers for managing compliance.
  • Get update on the latest IRS enforcement activity and learn best practices for audit preparedness.

In order to be awarded the FULL credit hours, you must be present for all sessions.   In-Person attendance will require signing in/out via the form provided; Virtual attendance will be monitored via an attendance verification system on the online platform and credits will be provided on a per session basis.

Participants will earn up to 12.0 CPE credits (actual credits will be calculated once final schedule is confirmed)

Refunds and Cancellations

If you need to cancel your registration, refunds for in-person attendees must be requested in writing by October 29 and will be subject to a  $100 cancellation fee. Virtual attendees can cancel with no cancellation fee through November 12. Refunds and cancellations for hotel bookings should be requested directly from Andaz Scottsdale and are subject to their policies.
